SAR-99 GHz radar SART for maritime search and rescue operations. When interrogated by a rescue craft radar, the SAR-9 transmits a response signal that appears as 12 in-line dots on the radar screen, enabling rescuers to locate survivors. Lightweight, buoyant design suitable for liferafts.
