Originally part of the Orolia group, the Kannad Marine brand was acquired by Seas Of Solutions BV in April 2021 alongside sister brands McMurdo and Netwave. Products are MEOSAR-compatible and optimized for the Cospas-Sarsat satellite search and rescue system. Kannad Marine introduced the world's first EPIRB with integrated AIS in 2017.
